I’ve always been a big fan of sleep, but I didn’t realize how deep that love ran until I had kids and wasn’t getting nearly enough of it! I went through the typical sleep struggles with my first two children, but my third gave me a taste of true sleep deprivation. It was hard to function day to day, and it was only once I hit my breaking point that I learned the importance of teaching children independent sleep skills. It was a life changing revelation for my family and I wanted to be able to guide and support other families through their own sleep struggles.

Prior to gaining my certification as a Child Sleep Consultant, I worked in a hospital setting as a Recreation Therapist. I have always been passionate about improving my clients’ quality of life and now have the opportunity to do that by helping parents and children get the sleep they need to live healthy, active lives.

My home is on an acreage in East Central Alberta with my husband and our three children. When I’m not chauffeuring my children around, I enjoy playing softball, reading and camping with family and friends.
