I’ve always been a person who values sleep. When my babies came along they brought with them both joy and exhaustion. Months turned into years and we lived in a sleep deprived state, missing out on so much of the joy until they learned the skill of independent sleep.
Prior to becoming a parent, I worked with students and families as a high school Special Education teacher. I hold a Bachelor of Education degree and a Post Degree Certificate in Special Education along with my Child Sleep Consultant certification. I’ve seen firsthand how children thrive when they are well rested. As a natural teacher and a mother who has been in the trenches of sleep deprivation, I have the ability to guide families while forming genuine relationships with my clients.
In addition to working with families as a Child Sleep Consultant, I am also the Director of SleepWell Academy. I live on my family’s grain farm near Rosetown, Saskatchewan with my husband and three daughters. In my spare time I enjoy fitness, travel and of course a good night’s sleep.

And I know that today you find yourself smack in the middle of the annual fall marathon we like…
Monitor Your Baby Monitoring
That’s my new baby girl on the baby monitor. My family and I were lucky enough to welcome her to the mix this past winter. It’s been a while since we’ve had a newborn in our home, just over 5 years to be exact. In that time I’ve learned a great deal about sleep and…
