Alysa Dobson

I’ve always been a person who values sleep. When my babies came along they brought with them both joy and exhaustion. Months turned into years and we lived in a sleep deprived state, missing out on so much of the joy until they learned the skill of independent sleep.

Prior to becoming a parent, I worked with students and families as a high school Special Education teacher. I hold a Bachelor of Education degree and a Post Degree Certificate in Special Education along with my Child Sleep Consultant certification. I’ve seen firsthand how children thrive when they are well rested. As a natural teacher and a mother who has been in the trenches of sleep deprivation, I have the ability to guide families while forming genuine relationships with my clients.

In addition to working with families as a Child Sleep Consultant, I am also the Director of SleepWell Academy. I live on my family’s grain farm near Rosetown, Saskatchewan with my husband and three daughters. In my spare time I enjoy fitness, travel and of course a good night’s sleep.
